Approval of the Affordable Care Act has been unpopular since it was passed in 2010, but now that it faces possible repeal by 45’s administration, its approval has risen to the highest level ever.

A Pew Research Center poll found that 54 percent of respondents approve of the ACA, also dubbed Obamacare, while 43 percent disapprove. Just two months ago, in December 2016, just 48 percent approved of the law and 47 percent disapproved. The poll also found that even though 43 percent currently disapprove of the law, only 17 percent want it totally repealed, while 25 percent want it modified instead.
