Ashanti has hit the 15-year mark for her debut, self-titled album. The singer wrote on Instagram, “15 Years!!!!!! So humbled & blessed. My first Album ‘Ashanti’……To be able to break records & make history with your very first album is an incredible feeling. Thank so much to everyone who helped to make My Album to not only be Successful, but Classic and Historic! Obviously music has changed since 15 years ago… but classics live forever… coincidentally @myfabolouslife brought me on stage last night at the party tour… & 20,000 people sang ‘Foolish’ as if it were 2002. Can’t even describe the feeling… thank you so much to my amazing fans and everyone that has supported me, fought for me & believed in me through the ups and downs love you all!! #Ashanti Happy15yearAnniversaryAshanti”
