According to The Pulse of Radio, Christina Aguilera will honor late singer Whitney Houston at the 2017 American Music Awards. The 36-year-old singer will celebrate Houston and the 25th anniversary of her movie The Bodyguard at the annual awards show in November.

Xtina will perform a musical tribute to Houston, who died at age 48 in February 2012. She posted this on Instagram saying,

Remember when Whitney herself said in 2001 that Christina Aguilera sang the best version of her song ‘Run to You, at the first BET Awards?

Whitney Houston’s estate said in a press release. “It is with great appreciation and honor that she is returning to participate on the American Music Awards for a special tribute honoring the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard. Whitney said that Christina is without a doubt one of the best voices she enjoyed in this generation of music.”

The AMAs airs Sunday, November 19th at 7pm on ABC.
