- In other news, according to Deadline, Mekhi Phifer, Laz Alonso, Lance Gross and Lil Rel Howery have been added to the cast of BET’s mini-series, The Bobby Brown Story. It was previously announced that Woody McClain would reprise his role as Brown. BET is planning to debut the series with a two-night premiere in September.
