The 52nd NAACP Image Awards are right around the corner and the nominations are in! Without surprise, Beyonce’ leads with six nominations for Outstanding Female Artist and Outstanding Soul/R&B for her song, “Black Parade”, her Disney+ film, Black Is King, Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album, and her feature on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” remix.

Other nominees included some Netflix TV shows and movie fan favorites like Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Bridgerton, and Da 5 Bloods.

The award show will also honor those who’ve made a social impact in 2020; April Ryan, Debbie Allen, Lebron James, Stacey Abrams, and Tamika Mallory are up for the recognization.

Another major award for the night will be Entertainer of the Year and Regina King, Viola Davis, Tyler Perry, D-Niceand Trevor Noah are the nominees. King’s “One Night in Miami” received six nominations including Outstanding Motion Picture making it her third consecutive nomination in that particular category.
