One of his most aggressive moves came in August 2025, when Kelly filed a motion asking the court to disqualify the entire U.S. Attorney’s Office from his case. The request was quickly rejected by U.S. District Judge Martha Pacold. In her ruling, she made it clear that such a demand requires overwhelming evidence — something Kelly did not provide.
