Variety has reported that The New Edition Story was BET’s highest rated premiere in five years. The mini-series, which also aired on Centric, brought in 4.4 million viewers. 2.6 million of those viewers were between the ages of 18-49. The third and final part of the biopic aired last night (January 26th).  Great job, BET!!
Donald Glover’s new FX comedy series, Atlanta, scored huge ratings for the network. The premiere brought in 1.2 million viewers in the 18 to 49 demographic. It was second most-watched scripted basic cable comedy premiere in the last two years behind TBS’ Wrecked. The show also stars Lakeith Lee Stanfield and Zazie Beetz.  Best comedy on cable, watch it!
