Texans coach Gary Kubiak kept returning to one thing last week as he answered question after question about his team’s effort, talent and smarts.
Yes, seriously, he got all those questions in the wake of an embarrassing loss to the Saints. OK, almost all of them.
I know because I had people writing me saying they were so disgusted they had sold their season tickets and were done with the Texans forever, or until next week, whichever came first.
Now they’re phoning their friends wondering where they can get two good ones for the Indianapolis game Sept. 12. Anyway, Kubiak attempted to calm the panic in the streets.
