Strauss-Kahn’s resignation came ahead of his attorneys appeal to the New York Supreme Court to release their client on bail. The appeal, which will be filed Thursday, argues that he has agreed to post a $1 million in cash bond, to be monitored electronically and to be confined to home detention in Manhattan, and to turn over his U.N. travel document.
