An inspirational student at New Waverly High School was celebrating with his classmates Monday after he was nominated to the homecoming court. As he looked around at the parade floats Monday, Chase Belcher couldn’t believe he’d been voted onto the court. For many teenagers, that means a lot, but for the senior with muscular dystrophy, it couldn’t have been more unexpected.
