The Black Heritage Society, Inc. (BHS) is a self-help, non-profit organization chartered by the state of Texas and is accorded tax-exempt status 501.c.3 of the internal revenue code.
Founded in 1975, in Houston, Texas because of concern for the well-being and betterment of the entire human race, the Black Heritage Society has genuine concern and commitment for the cultural, educational, social, and economical advancement of Black America.
