A man wanted for charges based upon his alleged prostitution business was arrested in Houston Thursday. According to published reports, Germaine “Jell-O” Wallace was taken into custody Thursday along the Northwest Freeway near FM 1960 Thursday afternoon. According officials with the federal task force, Wallace is being sought for several charges in Colorado that include sexual assault, narcotics possession and trafficking in prostitution.

Wallace was reportedly arrested after being found in a taxi cab with four other women. The women were not arrested and reportedly stated that they were not prostitutes. Additional reports indicate that Wallace, who kept proclaiming his innocence after his arrest on Thursday, had been living in a million-dollar mansion in the Denver area. Reports indicate that within his home were expensive cars and exotic wild animals. He is scheduled to be extradited to Colorado after his court appearance in Harris County this week.

According to authorities, Wallace was operating his prostitution business in Houston for several weeks. It is also believed that he has been in various cities hosting major sporting events and business conferences with several women. The women were each expected to make hundreds of dollars for Wallace and give him a percentage of their earnings.

Task force investigators visited several adult clubs in the Houston area looking for Wallace. They then spotted four women who were with Wallace. The women admitted to being adult entertainers but not prostitutes; they were questioned and then released.

Wallace denied any involvement in prostitution as he was being arrested in Houston on Thursday. Investigators believe Wallace’s annual income to be approximately $275,000.
