Courtney Williams says his life was turned upside down about four year ago. When he was 14, his mother got sick and could no longer take care of him and his siblings. He decided to pick up the slack.
Eventually, the family was evicted and started living at Star of Hope. Williams had dreams of being an aeronautical engineer but never thought they would come true.
But his dreams are now starting to be realized now that he has received a full scholarship to the University of Houston. Listen below as he shares his story with Lana Hughes and JP Pritchard.
