Definitely the definition of hate or is it much deeper than that?  While incredibly talented and young (only 16) gymnist Gabby Douglas is out there representing the world in the 2012 London Olympics (and her black heritage) and more importantly, winning a gold medal for the United States Of America, working hard with blood, sweat and tears, it seems as if some of our very own black women could only focus on her hair style.  Some called it nappy, some simply said it didn’t look good enough.  Nevertheless, it caused an uproar in the media and we must tackle this issue.  This morning on the TJMS, Jacque Reid goes ‘Inside Her Story’ with author/journalist Sophia Nelson to try and find out in a nutshell, ‘Why are black women hating on one another?’  Sophia gives a very articulate answer.  Gabby Douglas?  You have a bright career ahead of you and you’re only 16. You did a great job of brushing the issue off and continue to be an olympic hero.  Job well done.
