We have just been updated that the gunman who shot 1 officer and two civilians has died according to CNN.com. The officer who was rushed to the hospital after being shot has also died. Two other civilians were injured and are in critical condition at a local hospital.
HOUSTON – A man has been taken into custody by police in College Station, Texas after being identified as the gunman who shot several people near the campus of Texas A&M University.
According the College Station Police department, the shooting happened about one block away from the campus and the university had been warning their students, staff and faculty stay away from the intersection of Welborn Road, George Bush Drive and near Fidelity Drive.
