Houston FBI officials are seeking help identifying a bank robber who may be a married man.
The man dubbed the “Wedding Band Bandit” walked into the Amegy Bank at about 12:35 p.m. today, located at 12130 Hempstead Highway, and proceded to demand money from a teller while displaying a black semi-automatic pistol. The robber appeared to be wearing a gold wedding band on his left ring finger.

No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The bank robber is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-5-inches to 5-foot-7-inches tall, 160– 170 pounds with a small to medium build. He wore a black button-down shirt or jacket over a white t-shirt with dark colored pants. He wore dark sunglasses and a black ball cap with a white star on the face of the cap.

Three people were arrested in another robbery of an Amegy Bank in the 1500 block of Eldridge Parkway. These robberies are not related, officials said.
