Usher son, Usher Raymond V, almost drowned in their home pool yesterday in Atlanta. According to Pulse of Radio:
Sources say that the child was playing in the pool with his aunt Rena Oden and saw a toy in the drain. He then dove down to get the toy but his arm got stuck in the drain. His aunt tried to get him out of the pool, but couldn’t get his hand out. The maid also dove in, but couldn’t get him out either. Two audio visual contractors working in the house came out and finally got him out of the pool. Usher wasn’t there at the time.
One of the workers administered CPR immediately and the boy was rushed to the hospital. He was reportedly “conscious, alert and breathing.” According to the police report, Usher met his son at the hospital. Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster also met them at the hospital.
Usher V is doing fine now, but Tameka Foster now wants temporary custody of her son’s. According to CBS Atlanta:
Tameka has filed court papers at the Fulton County Courthouse, requesting custody of their two sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond. Usher was granted full custody in 2012.
