Miguel was arrested for driving under the influence in Los Angeles Thursday morning. Law enforcement tells TMZ the California Highway Patrol stopped the 27-year-old after he was found speeding in his 2013 BMW X6 around 2 AM. He was also cited for tinted windows.
During the stop, officers noticed the singer reeked of booze … and performed various field sobriety tests, which he bombed.
Miguel blew a .10 and .11, well over California’s .08 legal limit for blood alcohol concentration. He was arrested at the scene and booked. He has since been released on $5,000 bail.
The singer is due in court in September.
