(ALDINE, TX) — A former Aldine Independent School District teacher is sentenced to three years of deferred adjudication after pleading guilty to having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Felicia Smith, 42, admitted to giving a lap dance to a 15-year-old at Stoval Middle School.

The boy told his mother about the lap dance, which allegedly happened in front of the entire class one late February morning.
The complaint said the teacher was dancing as a birthday tribute:
“…Ms. Smith grabbed a chair and placed it next to her desk. [The student] stated…when the music started to play…the whole class was yelling and telling him to sit down on the chair that was placed by Ms. Smith. [He] sat down on the chair and Ms. Smith started to perform a full contact lap dance…with her buttocks making contact with his penis while she began to move back and forth, causing [him] to have an erected penis.”
Smith then allegedly told the student, “I love you baby. Happy Birthday,” while hugging him closely, according to the affidavit.
The teacher admitted to the lap dance, and said the event lasted about four minutes.
She blamed students for egging her to perform the dance.
