Cop selling Insensitive T-shirts: “I Can’t Breathe”… “Breathe Easy, Don’t Break The Law.”
So I was reading that a cop in Mishawaka, Indiana is selling T-shirts with “Breathe Easy, Don’t Break The Law” on them, a direct response to the widespread publicity of the “I Can’t Breathe” movement in which civilians and celebrities alike are taking a stand against police brutality through the now infamous statement. Eric Garner is the NY man who was choked to death by a NYPD cop who put him in an illegal chokehold. Many are saying the “Breathe Easy, Don’t Break the Law” shirts are insensitive and are purposely mocking Eric Gardner’s dying words, “I Can’t Breathe”.
