The new biopic film ‘Whitney,’ aired Saturday, Jan. 17, was Lifetime effort to showcase the complete 360 degree life of Whitney Houston. I must say all the all the emotional ups and downs of Whitney and Bobby’s turbulent and volatile relationship was hard to capture in two hours, but Angela Bassett’s as the director was great at keeping the pace and storyline on track. The casting of, Yaya DaCosta as Whitney and Arlen Escapeta as Bobby Brown was excellent. The best part of the movie for me was the brilliant voice of r&b diva, brilliant vocals (done up by Deborah Cox). At the end of the movie I was left saying give me more actually two hours wasn’t enough to capture the phenomenal talent of Whitney Houston.  One of the best singers of her generation it’s a must see next time it comes on check it out.
