- 3 pounds of your favorite fully cooked sausage
cut in half lengthwise, then cut into 2 inch pieces - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 head cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1 large sweet onion, cut into large pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dijon or brown grainy mustard
