Do you use Instagram? Since it launched, the photo-sharing has only allowed 640 by 640 pixel resolution photos, but that’s about to change.

According to TIME,

The app is about to start displaying photos in 1080 by 1080 pixel resolution. While it hasn’t been officially been announced yet, an Instagram spokesperson confirmed to The Verge that it is in fact working to roll out bigger format to its iOS and Android app. The higher resolution will likely improve the experience for many of Instragram’s 300 million users as phone screens have gotten larger since the app launched in 2010. Plus, who doesn’t like looking at prettier photos?

About time!!  Can’t wait until they update the app for this!
