It’s been an unseasonably warm November, and retailers of cold-weather clothing are suffering as a result.

According to Consumerist,

The chief financial officer of Macy’s explains to Reuters, “Those [cold weather] businesses have been tough and obviously often you go to the store to buy the coat when it’s cold, so it’s impacting other categories as well because it’s less traffic.” Kohl’s and JCPenny both cite similar problems due to the warm weather, but it’s not all bad news. You see the falling sales might translate into falling profits and stock prices for retailers, which could translate into fabulous sales for consumers once the weather actually gets cold.

For a person, like me, that loves a good deal on clothes, I’m here for this!  LOL
