“Facebook is for old people.”  I’ve heard the kids say, and it seems that they have some data to back up their claim. According to The Daily Mail

Market research company eMarketer analyzed how US and UK adults use social media. They found Facebook is still attracting more users in both countries, but that most people joining are age 55 and up. Also, they expect 5.8 percent of American Facebook users ages 18 to 24 to drop the social network sometime this year, and they expect that downward trend to continue among Facebook users under age 25 through 2020. Snapchat and Instagram have proved most popular among younger social media users in recent years.
