Tamar Braxton and her estranged husband Vincent Herbert appeared on The View on Friday (February 23rd), where she spoke on their divorce and rumors of Vince’s love child. Tamar explained her decision to call it quits, saying, “I felt like divorce was the only option that I had left. Although we’re in extensive counseling. That is much more needed and it still will always be. The bigger picture of everything is we have a responsibility to my amazing four-year-old son, to raise him in the most comfortable, amazing, loving, secure household that we can. That’s why we don’t live together.” She went on to say that the rumors regarding Vince impregnating another woman were inaccurate. Tamar said, “This is what my so-called friends were saying. The pregnancy rumor came from my friends.”
Tamar also said that the pregnancy rumors had nothing to do with the divorce. She said, “Vince and I have been through a lot. The reason I filed for divorce was not because of those rumors. I filed for divorce because we worked together, he’s my baby father, we’re together each and every single day, we were attached at the hip, and it just got to be too much.”
- Tamar even cleared up rumors that the drama between her and Vince was for reality TV show ratings, saying, “I absolutely have no reason to lie about my marriage or the things that [are] happening in my marriage for ratings. I think that’s disgusting and I would never sell my soul to the devil like that. It’s not that serious. Marriage is a serious thing for me and for my family. I have a regular marriage and in regular marriages just like everyone else, things happen.”
- On the other hand, Vince — who was initially sitting in the audience before joining the ladies, said he thinks reconciliation is still possible. He said, “I love this lady with all my heart. I love my family with all my heart. I will never stop fighting for my family, and trying to make it be great.”
