Residents and city officials in Galveston are keeping an extra close eye on Tropical Storm Ernesto.
Norman Williamson is Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator for Galveston County. He says his department is at the normal level of preparedness, level four.

He says if mobility is an issue for anyone, they need to sign up for a ride to safety with a call to 211 to register for transportation.
