Marvin Smith III VP of the Black Pilots of America discusses the organization and the summer youth flying and training program.  He’s joined by students of Sterling High School Aviation Magnet program who are participants in the flight academy and Ms. June Marsh of the Bronze Eagle Flying Club of Texas.  The scholarship event fundraiser for the summer flying program is Monday April 28th at the Red Cat Jazz Café 711 Franklin St. downtown.

Saturday July 19th the Bronze Eagle Flying Club of Texas will hold their Annual Regional Children Free Fly-In at Ellington Field. Registration is that morning from 9-10a and the club flies children from 12-19 years old along with the full tower tour and more all free sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
