Being a procrastinator is bad for your health. A new, short video from Men’s Health explains that waiting until the last minute actually puts your body in a highly alert, “fight-or-flight” state.  Watch this video to see what happens to your body when you procrastinate.

Chronic stress of this magnitude can really take its toll, as it is known to increase inflammation in the body, which can lead to a host of worrisome health problems from headaches to cardiovascular disease.

You can combat this by adding stress-relieving techniques into your day-to-day in the form of things like exercise, meditation, and avoiding multitasking.
