If you want to stay looking and feeling young you’ll have to work out at least five times per week. Researchers from the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine in Dallas, Texas looked at the exercise habits of 102 people in their 60s. They found those who exercised two to three times a week over their lifetime had healthier middle-sized arteries, which supply blood to the head and neck. All arteries were healthier among people who exercised four times or more per week. Getting regular exercise keeps your arteries supple and improves blood flow. This of course helps protect against heart disease, but also can keep your skin looking younger as well as improving well-being and boosting energy.
