The cost of a Forever stamp has increased to 78 cents, up from 73 cents, effective July 13, according to USA Today. The Postal Regulatory Commission announced the price hike in May, with the last increase occurring on July 14, 2024. The USPS governors believe the new rates will help the agency remain competitive and generate necessary revenue. Other changes, such as service standard refinements and adjustments to shipping services prices, have also been implemented to save the USPS an estimated $36 billion over the next decade.
