Friends, family, fans and peers flocked to downtown Houston Sunday in honor of Poyo.

Due to an overwhelming response, Big Pokey's family and the City of Houston have changed the location for today's celebration. The event will take place Sunday (June 25) at City Hall beginning at 6pm.

On Friday, June 30th, the public will have an opportunity to pay their respects to Big Pokey during a public viewing. There will not be a formal service during this time and no filming or photos will be allowed. Guests will be monitored by security to assure privacy.
